Due to its adsorptive properties bentonite is highly used for construction of waterproofing curtains and as waterproofing material in products like “bentomats” and “bentocords”.
Bentonite possesses excellent plasticizing and penetrating properties and used in injection and cementation mixtures for plastering clefts and filling cavities. That is why it is used in construction of HPP, seawalls and canals, ponds, substructure of residential and industrial buildings.
